Here’s a quick sketch from Manze Pie, Mash & Eels on Tower Bridge road. It’s the oldest pie, mash and eel shop in London. They make their mash from real potatoes, none of that weird powder, and their prices may be one of the few reasonable things left on earth. There’s also a notice up apologising for the constantly rising price of eel. Some of the customers include an elderly couple who had to move from the area into a nursing home, but the highlight of their week is getting the bus to Tower Bridge road for their mash, pie and eels. Also, a lot of young Italian guys who are very serious about eels and/or the friendly waitresses.
